Masiela Lusha is a social worker actor, writer and author who was born in Tirana Albania. Max Lusha, along with Daniela Lusha have only one daughter. Brink dropped out of high-school when she was 14 after having a baby. To support her family, Brink was able to move in with her son Davion after the birth. Brink was part of her first band Pulse from Albany in New York. The band mostly opened local shows for bands such as Coal Chamber and Sevendust. They broke up afterward. After moving to Los Angeles from California at 25 years old, Brink emigrated to the city in 2002. Brink was a singer and worked in cafes and bars while she searched for the perfect band. She was introduced to Chris Howorth, the band's present member, during an audition for music two years later. Howorth refused to speak with her due to the fact that she is female. After hearing her show the show, he decided to reconsider his position. Dying Stars was the name they gave their band, which they were also a part of with drummer Jeff Fabb. Blake Bunzel (guitarist) and Josh Newell (bassist) joined the band later. In This Moment became the new band's name following two live performances.
